Applications for the Yousef Jameel GAPP Public Leadership Program 2024 are now open to young Egyptians. Created in May 2011 by Yousef Jameel in cooperation with the School of Global Affairs and Public Policy GAPP, the program was designed to build the capacities of young, qualified Egyptian citizens in public policy and management, allowing them to aspire to leadership roles in post-January 25 th revolution Egypt.
The Yousef Jameel Public Leadership Program, for example, has supported 300 fellows via 12 cohorts of 25 Egyptian graduate students per year. The forerunner of a knowledgeable and competent bunch of young college graduates who will endeavor to change Egypt for the better.

Duration of Scholarship
The scholarship is for the entire master’s degree program, which is typically two and a half years and includes an optional semester for study abroad. The fellowship will be reviewed each semester to ensure that it continues.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Egyptian citizenship
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in the field of social sciences such as business administration, management, political science, law, etc., engineering mechanical, electrical, construction, etc., or science pharmacy, medicine, computer science, chemistry, etc. *
- A GPA of 3.2 or the equivalent
- AUC’s graduate admission requirements, which are satisfied by earning a satisfactory score on the international TOEFL IBT or IELTS exam
- The applicant must have a minimum of two and a maximum of 12 years of relevant professional work experience post-bachelor’s degree, preferably in public, not-for-profit, or international development organizations. This is for graduates from 2011 to 2021 intake.
- A continuing student who has completed a maximum of 6 credit hours 2 courses by September 2024 may be considered.
- Holders of a Bachelor in Law LLB with a grade of ‘Good’ will be considered on a case-by-case basis during the selection.
