Call for Sponsored Speakers: UN-OHRLLS Private Sector Forum at LLDC3
Would you like to be one of the sponsored speakers of the UN-OHRLLS representing your community at the Private Sector Forum in the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries LLDC 3 which will be held in Kigali, Rwanda, on 18-19 June 2024? This is a transformational conference that will shape the next decade of UN action for LLDCs.
The forum Private Sector Forum of LLDC3 hopes to bring together businesses, investors , entrepreneurs, government representatives and the UN from the 32 landlocked developing countries in order to allow the private sector to bring their perspectives, ideas, and commitments.
For this experience, we ask for one young entrepreneur for each thematic session: Trade & Transit, Digital Development, Growth Opportunities, and Financing & Investment. It is a singular opportunity for you to share your expertise in a panel discussion with distinguished worldwide speakers.
Requirements:
- Ambitious Mindset: You should be an ambitious young individual seeking to make a positive impact in your professional endeavours.
- Age: You must be between 18 to 35 years old.
- Nationality: You should be a citizen of one of the 32 landlocked developing countries (LLDCs) listed below.
- Work Location: Your work should be based in one of the landlocked developing countries.
LLDCs: Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bhutan, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Central African Republic, Chad, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Lao, Lesotho, Malawi, Mali, Mongolia, Nepal, Niger, North Macedonia, Paraguay, Bolivia, Moldova, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uganda, Uzbekistan, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
Benefits:
- Travel Support: Flights and daily subsistence allowances will be provided for young entrepreneurs travelling to Rwanda from foreign countries specifically for the duration of the Private Sector Forum, in accordance with standard UN regulations.
- Visas and Travel Documents: Please note that the UN is not responsible for arranging visas or other travel documents for selected candidates.
