    Eligibility Criteria:
    All eligible candidates must meet the following requirements:

    • In the process of obtaining a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) field related to one or more of NASA’s mission areas.
    • Strong academic record.
    • Demonstrated strong interest in the United States’ space program.
    • Proficiency in English.

    2) NASA High School and College Students Internships:

    • Applicants must be U.S. Citizens with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
    • Paid internships occur in fall, spring, and summer at all NASA facilities.
    • Application process is agencywide.
    • OSTEM interns may apply for a stipend based on academic standing and session duration.
    • Prior experience not required.
    • Opportunity open to high school, undergraduate, graduate, and educator levels.
    • NASA also funds internships at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in California.

    Eligibility Criteria:

    • Must be a U.S. citizen.
    • Age must be more than 16 years.
    • Enrolled or accepted for enrollment on at least a half-time basis in an accredited educational institution and maintain enrollment at least half-time as defined by the institution.
    • Pursuing a degree or certificate.
    • Currently have and maintain a cumulative 2.9 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
    • Able to complete at least 640 hours of work prior to completing degree/certificate requirements.
    • Required to sign a Pathways Participant Agreement.
    • Required to undergo a pre-employment background investigation.
    • Male applicants born after December 31, 1960.
    • Vacancies require applicants to be available to begin work within a predetermined timeframe.
