Eligibility Criteria for McGill University Scholarships in Canada:
- The scholarship is open to students from all over the world.
- Applicants must be in possession of a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent recognized by McGill University, and graduation must have taken in a subject that is closely related to the subject chosen for graduate work.
- Unless otherwise specified, the Master’s program at McGill requires the equivalent of a McGill four-year undergraduate degree in the relevant field from a recognized institution. To be admitted to a doctorate degree a recognized institution master’s degree in a relevant field is required.
- The minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average is 3.0 in the last two years of full-time study (CGPA) on a 4.0 point scale or a 3.2 Grade Point Average except where a higher average is stated for your particular degree program. Your credentials must be equivalent to a McGill University degree.

- Proficiency of English: English is the primary language of instruction at McGill. All examinations, dissertations and written tests may be written in French unless the course focuses on knowledge of the English language.
