Eligibility Criteria for Applicants from the Mentioned Countries
Age Requirements:
- Applicants must be 18 years old when commencing their scholarship in New Zealand.
- If applicants are 17 years old, they must celebrate their 18th birthday before starting their scholarship in semester one.
- The maximum age limit is 40 years.
Work Experience Requirements:
- Work experience, whether paid, unpaid, or voluntary, should meet either of the following criteria:
- One year of full-time work experience (30 hours or more per week).
- Two years of part-time work experience (up to 29 hours per week).
English Language Requirements for Successful Applicants:
- Only shortlisted applicants are required to provide English language test scores.
- Accepted test scores include:
- IELTS: 6.0 with no band less than 5.5
- TOEFL: 80 on the internet-based test with a writing score of 21
- PTE Academic: 50, with no communication skills score less than 42
- Cambridge Academic English (advanced): 169 with no bands less than 162.
Language Test Cost Coverage:
- The Manaaki NZ Scholarship will cover the cost of the language test and arrange the test for applicants from the following countries:
