Lithuania State Scholarship 2024-2025: Study in Lithuania

As of February 27th , 2024, Lithuania with a small population of 2.8 million , is offering the Lithuania State Scholarship 2024-2025. This scholarship program funded by the government of Lithuania promotes foreign students taking full-time master’s studies or full-time studies at contracted foreign higher education institutions. The scholarship supports full tuition fees and all living expenses in Lithuania. Over the years, Lithuania has seen an increase in the number of foreigners who start work and studies. By Mid-summer 2022, there were 145,118 foreigners residing in Lithuania. It has a wide range of job opportunities, and international students are obliged to work during their studies. After completing studies, one is permitted to stay in Lithuania for 15 months to secure employment. The following is an outline of the Lithuania State Scholarship 2024-2025.

SCHOLARSHIPS FOR LITHUANIAN SHORT-TERM STUDIES

1. Number of Scholarships: up to 45
2. Eligible Countries: Any Country
3. Type of Scholarship: Short-term (1-2 semesters) Lithuanian studies (at least 50% of subjects related to Lithuanian studies).

Applicants must choose their study program so that at least 50% of the subjects are related to Lithuanian studies, covering areas such as Lithuanian philology, linguistics, literature, Lithuanian history, ethnology, folklore, etc.

FINANCIAL BENEFITS

• Tuition fees are covered.
• Monthly scholarship of 825 EUR to cover living expenses.
• Many Lithuanian universities offer additional scholarships from their funds to students.

WORK IN LITHUANIA
