The European Commission Blue Book Traineeship 2024 (Fully Funded)

Would you like to travel for 5 months to Europe? The European Commission is offering a 5-month paid traineeship every year. The application for the October 2024 session of the European Commission Blue Book Traineeship 2024 is now open. The Blue Book Traineeship is available to all citizens of an EU member state and non-EU citizen. The EC Blue Book Training program will be held in Belgium and Luxembourg. Candidates who have not undertaken any work experience are given preference.

The European Commission will cover all costs; hence, it is a fully funded traineeship program. Candidates should be a Bachelor’s degree graduate or undergraduate student. Financial Benefits:

Applicants who join the Blue Book Traineeship Program in Europe don’t have to pay for anything. The EU Commission will cover:

• Monthly allowance of €1,376 per month. The grant/living allowance is paid at the end of each month.
• Visa costs will be reimbursed.
• Medical fees will be reimbursed.
• The EU will cover the travel expenditure (airfare tickets).
• The Commission does not cover accommodation expenses.

Eligibility Criteria:

• The EC Blue Book traineeship is open to all EU citizens, as well as a limited number of seats for non-EU nationals.
• Applicants must have completed a standard 3-year higher education degree.
• They should have no prior work experience of any kind.
• Good knowledge of English is required, with no need for IELTS or TOEFL tests.
• Trainees are expected to work five 8-hour days, totalling 40 hours per week.
• They are entitled to 2 days’ paid leave per month.
• There is no age limit for participating in the traineeships.

• Valid ID card or passport
• University qualifications of studies completed before the deadline for applications
• Proof of university exchange programs abroad, participation in EU or international programs, seminars, or workshops
• All declared language skills (other than mother tongue/s)
• All declared work experience.

• Work experience, if applicable
• Work or volunteering experience abroad
• Rare fields of study
