Awarded by the Einstein Forum and the Daimler and Benz Foundation. The Einstein Forum and the Daimler and Benz Foundation are offering a fellowship for outstanding young thinkers who wish to pursue a project in a different field from that of their previous research.
The purpose of the fellowship is to support those who, in addition to generating superb work in their area of specialization, are open to other interdisciplinary approaches- following the example given by Albert Einstein.
Eligibility Criteria for Fellowships in Germany:

- Applicants must be under 35 years old and hold a degree from a university in humanities, social sciences, or natural sciences.
- 2024 applications should include:
- A CV.
- A two-page project proposal.
- Two recommendation letters.

- At the end of the fellowship year, the fellow will be asked to give a brief report on his or her project in a public lecture at the Einstein Forum and the Daimler and Benz Foundation.

- The fact that the applicant is in the process of acquiring a Ph.D. or does not have it yet is not relevant.
- The proposed project must not be executed in the duration of the fellowship in this form, but it can also be one part of a more extensive project.
