Financial Coverage:
- Monthly Stipend: The Asian Development Bank (ADB) provides a generous stipend lasting up to 26 weeks, ranging from $1,000 to $2,200.
- Airfare Ticket: ADB funds and provides airfare tickets from the home country to the internship location.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the ADB Internship, an applicant must fulfill these requirements:
- Applicants must be currently enrolled in a Master’s or Doctoral degree program at a university in one of ADB’s member countries.
- Be a national of one of ADB’s member countries.
- Have excellent English language skills. Proof of English language test is not mandatory.
ADB Selection Process:
- Prepare your CV and answer the essay questions.
- All documents (CV and essay) are uploaded to ACES to complete the application.
- ACES is the ADB online application portal.
- ADB evaluates applications based on eligibility requirements, relevance of academic study and work experience, and the level of interest and motivation to contribute to development work.
