University of Twente Scholarship 2024-2025: General Background
The call for the University of Twente Scholarship for the 2024-2025 academic year is now open. This is an all-expense master’s scholarship targeting international students. There are approximately 50 grants available a year from €3,000 to €22,000. Moreover, an additional UTS sum of money to compensate for the second year budget is available. Scholarship Coverage
The University of Twente Scholarship covers:
- The University of Twente Scholarship for one year amounts to € 3,000 – € 22,000.
- If a student is registered in a two-year program, the first-year UTS amount can provide an additional UTS of an equivalent amount in the first year. Thus, the UTS in the second year is only valid if the student meets the procedure requirements for the UTS.
- To qualify, students must have achieved:
- A total grade score of 7 or more by the end of the third quartile of the first year
- At least 50% of the European Programs by the end of the third quartile of the first year
Eligibility Criteria for the University of Twente Scholarship (UTS):
- Language Requirement: An applicant should meet the language requirement in which the score should be within in the general English language proficiency of Academic IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL iBT 90, and an additional 6.0 TOEFL iBT 20 on the speaking subscore.
- Eligible Countries: The eligible countries should come from all countries worldwide.
- Application Process: Applying for a UTscholarship should differ from the course entry application to the University of Twente . Thus, regardless of funding, an applicant should obtain an admission letter .
- Admission Status: The admission status should be that the applicants should be provisional admitted to one of the qualifying UT Master’s programs starting in the upcoming academic year September. However, it may take up to 8 weeks to receive the results after completing the application.
- Student Number: One should not have graduated from a UT undergraduate program.
- Previous Graduation: Applicants must not have graduated from a UT (under)graduate program.
- Visa Eligibility: One should be condition for obtaining an entry visa that allows you to enter the Netherlands, in case, if applicable.
- Exclusion from Dutch Study Loan: One should not be eligible for a Dutch study loan.
- Academic Excellence: One should have academic excellence by the fact that the University Twente Scholarship is for outstanding students, typically the top 5 to 10 percent of their class.
