Financial Benefits:

The NCTU International Student Scholarships 2024-25 in Taiwan for International Students will cover the following expenses:

Bachelor Degree Scholarship:

• Up to NT$21,000 (US$700) per month as a Monthly Stipend and/or Tuition waiver.

Master Degree Scholarship:

• Waiver of University Tuition fees
• Monthly stipend of NT$22,000 (US$733) per month
• Assistantship will also be offered to Master’s students by the advisor for Research Work.

Doctoral Degree Scholarship:

• Waiver of tuition fees
• Monthly stipend of NT$29,000 (US$966) per month
• PhD Students will also receive an Assistantship by the advisor for Research Work.

Taiwan Scholarship – MOE, MOFA, MOST Scholarship:

This scholarship is provided by the Taiwan government (the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Ministry of Science and Technology).

MOFA Scholarship:

• Monthly Stipend: NT$30,000
• One Direct Round-Trip Economy-Class Ticket

MOE Scholarship:

• Waiver of tuition and certain fees
• Recipients can only study at universities participating in the Taiwan Scholarship Program Union
• Mainly for recipients from eligible countries designated by the MOE.

Eligibility Criteria for NCTU Scholarship:

To be eligible for the National Chiao Tung University Scholarship 2024-25, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• International Applicants except Taiwan with any other nationality are eligible to apply.
• Applicants must be in good physical and mental health.
• Candidates who are recipients of any other scholarships are not eligible.
• Applicants should accurately, honestly, and fully fill out the application form and submit all required application materials as per the university’s instructions.
• Candidates with a high school degree certificate are eligible to apply for Undergraduate Degree programs.
• Applicants holding a bachelor’s degree can apply for Master’s Degree programs.
• Students with a master’s degree certificate are eligible to apply for Doctoral Degree programs.
