Taiwan ICDF Scholarship 2024: Full Funded Opportunity
Scholarships are available to persons who are interested in continuing their studies in Taiwan, as applications for the Taiwan ICDF Scholarship 2024 have been opened. This year, there are a total of 29 higher education scholarship programs at an international level. There are a total of 23 partnership universities. As an applicant, you have the opportunity to study collaborative undergraduate, master’s, or Ph.D. degree programs with prestigious partnership universities in Taiwan. The scholarship will cover everything, including airfare, tuition, accommodation, and a stipend.
The Taiwan ICDF does not put forth any demands in proving one’s English language abilities. However, one should still meet the language requirements that have been put forth by the university where one wishes to enroll in the program. All of these programs are delivered in the English language. Furthermore, under Taiwan Law, you are free to work part-time in Taiwan. Details of the Scholarship
- Airfare: Economy Class tickets for most direct flights to and from Taiwan
- Housing: Mandatory residence in student dormitories for all students
- Tuition Fee: Covered by TaiwanICDF as required by the student’s university
- Credit Fees: Expenses related to registered credits will also be covered
- Insurance: Comprehensive coverage for the entire program duration
- Book Costs
- Allowance:
- Master’s Program: NT$18,000 per month for food and living expenses
- Ph.D. Program: NT$20,000 per month for food and living expenses
Eligibility Criteria
- Citizenship: Must be a citizen of a country listed in the eligible countries by ICDF.
- Nationality: Should not be a national of the Republic of China (Taiwan).
- Admission Requirements: Must fulfill the admission requirements of the chosen program.
- Resident Visa: Should be able to meet all requirements for a Resident Visa.
- Scholarship Holding: Upon acceptance of a TaiwanICDF scholarship, should not hold any other ROC (Taiwan) government-sponsored scholarship.
- Document Submission: Submission of previous educational documents is mandatory.

Application Process
Follow the step-by-step application process for the Taiwan ICDF Scholarship program:
- Online Application Submission:
- Ensure completion of the online application by March 15, 2024.
- Admission Documents Submission:
- Complete and submit the necessary admission documents before the specified deadlines set by the TaiwanICDF scholarship partner universities.
- Document Submission to ROC (Taiwan) Embassy/Representative Office:
- Submit the required documents to the Republic of China (Taiwan) Embassy or Representative Office in your country.
- Review and Recommendation:
- After a thorough review, a list of recommended applicants will be forwarded to the TaiwanICDF.
- Notification of Successful Applicants:
- Successful applicants will be notified by June 10, 2024.
- University Application:
- In addition to the TaiwanICDF application, candidates must separately apply to their chosen universities and fulfill the specific requirements of each institution.
